Wallop And District Growmore Club
Winchester Growmore club again hosted the Inter Growmore club clay shoot.
The shoot took place at Wallers ash gun club on Saturday 28th April 2007,13 teams took part with 3 teams from Wallop Growmore Club.
Wallop`s teams had varied success with Wallop 'B' captained by Kevin Pettit taking second overall and Wallop 'A' captained by Murray Dalton following in third.
Wallop 'C' did turn up and finished in 8th position,
Which at least was better than both Stockbridge teams!
Another two people who deserve a mention is David Isherwood(Wallop A) who won the Mens high gun with an excellent 44 out of 50 ,
The other star of the day was Tim Turner(Wallop B) who again walked away with the side by side high gun with another excellent score of 38 out of 50 .
